ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

The Music Entrepreneurship Program at the ABAC School of Music welcomes passionate individuals who see music not just as an art, but as a career. If you’re eager to build a future in the music industry and turn your passion into a profession, we’d love to meet you.

After submitting your application, you will be scheduled for an interview session.

What to Expect on Interview Day

1.Music Theory & Business Placement Test

A deep foundation in musical understanding and appreciation. Students explore essential elements such as music theory, history, and instrumental skills—gaining insight into both classical and contemporary styles to strengthen their artistic identity.

You’ll take a short written test covering basic music theory (scales, keys, chords, meters) and general knowledge of the music business.

Note: This is only for placement purposes and does not affect your admission status. If your music theory results need improvement, you may be required to attend an intensive theory course before the semester begins.*

2.Performance

If you play an instrument or sing, you are welcome to perform two contrasting pieces in different styles or genres to showcase your ability.

(Optional but Recommended)

3.Personal Interview

A conversation with our department team to get to know you better—your goals, your interests, and your passion for music.
