Music Boost Camp 2025

The School of Music, Assumption University (AU), in collaboration with the Office of Knowledge Management and Development (OKMD), THAACA, and the Subcommittee for Driving the Music Industry under the Prime Minister’s Office, proudly hosted the “Music Boost Camp” from July 30 to August 3, 2025 at AU’s Suvarnabhumi Campus.

This inspiring and intensive five-day, four-night camp is part of the nationwide “Talent Everywhere” initiative, which aims to develop musical skills and unlock professional opportunities for talented youth across Thailand. The project is conducted under the One Family One Soft Power (OFOS) policy and the national Soft Power Development Strategy, supported by the National Soft Power Strategy Committee.

The Music Boost Camp at AU welcomed over 40 young participants from more than 12 emerging music groups. Participants engaged in hands-on workshops, music theory classes, performance coaching, and industry knowledge sessions, all designed to prepare them for careers as professional musicians.

To ensure an enriching experience, the camp featured renowned Thai artists and industry experts, including guest appearances and mentorship from Yes’Sir Days, Jetset’er, Pause, as well as prominent influencers and music business professionals. A special highlight was the participation of Mr. Wichian “Nick” Rerkpaisan, a member of the National Soft Power Strategy Committee for Music, who shared his insights on the development of Thailand’s creative industries.

The entire program was thoughtfully curated and supervised by AU’s dedicated faculty members and student mentors from the School of Music, fostering a vibrant and supportive learning environment.

This Music Boost Camp is one of 10 regional camps held across Thailand, in provinces including Chonburi, Yala, Bangkok, Pathum Thani, Phitsanulok, Nonthaburi, Khon Kaen, Samut Prakan, Songkhla, and Chiang Mai. The camps serve as stepping stones toward the Talent Showcase—a national stage for the top 50 most outstanding participants to shine and be recognized as Thailand’s next generation of professional artists.

Assumption University is honored to be part of this transformative initiative that empowers the nation’s youth, nurtures musical talent, and strengthens Thailand’s position on the global creative industry map.
